An online marketplace for local services.

BookFreely is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent local service businesses. Customers can browse services, book appointments, and securely pay online. Businesses use BookFreely to manage bookings, receive payouts, and grow their business. Businesses approved by our payments partner carry a Verified badge.

How BookFreely works

For customers

    Filter by category, city, or keyword to find businesses near you.

    Compare businesses
    Reviews, pricing, deposit policy, and badges in one place. The Verified badge means our payments partner approved that business's identity — not every listing has it yet.

    Book online
    Pick a time slot from the business's live availability. No phone tag.
  4. 04
    Pay securely
    The deposit set by the business (refundable or non-refundable, labeled upfront) plus a one-time booking and processing fee of 3.85% of the full service price, via encrypted checkout. Booking 24 hours or less before the appointment charges the full amount today.

    Enjoy the service
    Automatic reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before. Any remaining balance is charged automatically 24 hours before the appointment.

    Create your business
    Sign up in minutes with your business name, description, and contact info.

    Subscribe & set up payouts
    Activate your subscription and your listings can go live. Complete secure payout setup whenever you're ready — it's what unlocks your earnings and the Verified badge, not your ability to take bookings.

    Add your services
    Set pricing, deposit policy, availability, and where you serve customers (in-shop or online).
  4. 04
    Accept bookings
    Choose how customers book. Instant Booking lets customers select an available time and complete their booking. Request Booking lets you accept, decline, or request another time.

    Get paid
    Deposits route to your payout account automatically once payout setup is approved. Before that, your share is held as a pending transfer and released to you afterwards. 0% commission on your own and returning customers; a one-time 10% acquisition fee (capped at $30) applies only to a new marketplace customer's first booking.

Businesses can list and take bookings once subscribed; only those Stripe has approved for payouts show the Verified check.
